Default First Capture from the tank mounted cam

I picked up a tank mount at Stuntwars Sunday, and this was on the way home (side trip).

Thanks to Clint for figuring out the capture - he is working on a better format.

Also, I was holding back a bit with the tank bag in my lap (couldn't move around much) and first ride with the camera and all..... This is filming through my tinted screen, and the sound sucks because of wind noise. I am going to have to experiment with maybe some foam over the mic or something. Also you really can't tell the lean angles from the vid, I think a wider lens may give more of the true sensation.

anyway - enjoy

Very Cool!

What kind of mount and camera are you using?

The camera is a Sony MiniDV cam I received for Christmas from the 'rents.... Not sure of the model, but I think it is a DCR-HC20. The mount is the one Leif is selling on clearwaterbiker.com

Veeeeery nice! I like the fact you can see the speedo/tach also. Wind noise isn't that bad. Should be able to turn the sound down when capturing to rid the wind noise then turn it back up after you've captured. Plus when you throw some tunes in the track it will be golden! You say that's a TINTED windscreen.

Yes, that's a tinted screen...... camera seems to compensate well.....

I would rather not throw music over the sound of the bikes, maybe some for the background, but to me I would rather listen to the Leo Vince than music

For twisite runs like that I would rather hear the bikes but on stunt videos I would rather hear music. Nice vid man.
