the '05 gsxr's are pretty badass too. maybe you should look into another one of them. the new black and new red are sweet.

I had an 01 gixxer 750 and now i am in the market for a new bike. I will probably end up just getting an 04 gixxer 600. Some people think I am stupid going from a 750 to a 600 but the 600 is still plenty fast for me and it's cheaper. I don't think anyone really "needs" a liter bike to have fun riding. Some people get them to race, it seems to me most people get them just just so they can say they have a big crotch rocket, and some people get them to compensate for something else . Just get whatever you are comfortable with.

i love my gxsr 600. dont think i'll ever need a bigger bike bcz its just for cruising. thats another thing you should take into consideration before picking a bike. what are you going to be using it for. daily driving. crusing. stunts. whatever. i'd probably never go above a 750. they are plenty fast!

agreed. good point.

im keeping to 600's... at least, for quite a while. my 6e has its few issues i dont like, so i might look into azx6r, r6 or cbr... but most likely if i changed bikes, it would be because i found a good deal on the perfect sv650.

I personally like the smaller CC bikes. It's like (for you motocross guys), going from riding a 250cc bike to a 125cc. Jump on a 125 after you've raced 250's for two years and the limiting factor is the bike. I think ONE CAN RIDE a smaller bike rather than have the BIKE RIDE HIM. Don't go bigger until your 600cc can't take any more of your redlines, foot peg scraping ass. Just my opinion but I'm getting another 600 because they are all fast as hell (Seriously how much over 165mph and 2.6second 0-60 do you want to go?), but the 600's handle a lot better IMO.
