thanks for the help guys, the bike i have is a 2000 yamaha r6. my first bike, and just a 600 so i dont think it is that much. it is a beautiful bike though, nice blue. i hate the day when i lay it down!

Even so your in a parking lot, you need to make sure your tires are up to temp.

no,just warm your bike up before redlineing it thew all the gears.when you get into a corner get into the attack position,put alot of weight on your front wheel so it wont wash out, and learn but try and countersteer and that will help set u up better,i no countersteering sounds crazy but it works well

No burn outs. Just ride for like 5 min. of good steady riding, then work on your leaning. If you do the parking lot thing, be sure the lot is free of debris like sand or rocks.
Why dont you come out riding with us on Sunday morning. You'll learn how to lean into corners like nothing.

yup, just meet up at the 7-11 on Fletcher & 56th 8am WITH GEAR...and as for the tire warmup...just do some good scrubbin on the way...
