I had Progressive, it was like $190 a month, paid for 7 months the other 5 were included. So, like $1330 a year or $110 a month. This was on an '01 F4i. My next bike will be bought with $ so I don't have to get insurance.

no u do not need insuranec on a bike unless ur company u have a loan on it from requires it. which most do. i don't have insurance on my bike b/c i figure if i drop it, its my dam fault and i should have to pay to fix it, and if someone hits me, than give me money. the only thing i do worry about it uninsured motorists. cause knowing my luck i'll get hit by the one jack on on the road prolly driving a BMW and has no insurance

I have Foremost Insurance as well. I pay just shy of 1400/year.

Of course, I have 2 speeding tickets, 1 Failure to show proof of insurance, and 1 driving on a suspended liscense, all in the last 3 years, so my insurance is gonna be a bit more then the norm for awhile.

Florida needs to be more specific about its insurance laws. My MSF instructor couldn't even explain it right, but he was a big asshole anyways.
