Now im sad...
I went to Barneys of Brandon yesterday, and there she was... a 2004 Kawi 636. I have never been a Kawi fan, but the first time i sat on this bike i was amazed at the way it fit me. So after a year of debating i went looking for one yesterday. I sat on her for about an hour before i decided to go ahead and buy. When it was all said and done, i coudnt get financed. Im so sad after a year of thinking it over i could not get it.

Think about this without your emotions involved.
Do you have the 900 lying around to just throw away with it having no effect to your finances? If so you then have to ask yourself, "do i really want to pay 200 a month for a small bike?" To be honest the 200 a month doesn't sound quite right. I know a bit about financing and would suggest you go through a Credit Union for the financing. Beside how many years are you having to pay the 200 monthly?<--Do you realize that after 5 yrs you will have paid more than 13,000 for that bike? That is waaaaaay to much for a 600cc bike. Besides the likelyhood that you will be riding that bike in 5 yrs is slim to none. This problem only compounds itself if you are finacing for longer than 5 yrs.
The above is just a few things you need to think about. Whatever you do, DO NOT, buy that bike on emotion or you will lose thousands.

I would highly suggest getting financing from any place other than the dealership. They will screw you bigtime on the interest charges. I put mine on a credit card and pay 3.9% interest.
As far as price goes, I would get them down to MSRP out the door or walk away. Most local places love to charge all these b.s. fees like shipping, setup, etc. MSRP on the 636 is $7999. I would pay that out the door (including tax) or walk away. Having your financing already setup will make this much easier.
Is it was to easy (and common) for people to get emotional and get royally screwed by dealerships. Don't be one of them.

I dont give a rats ass about cars anymore.
My 240sx is basically stock besides the suspension...and I have no desire what so ever to do anything to it.
Why even try when you can do 180mph+ on two wheels?
