sorry to hear of your loss.. I had to let go of a friend last month that died on his 600RR.. Despite what you hear about harley riders not gettin hurt or in wrecks.. it's bs.. many die regardless of type of bike.. There are alot more hardcore sportbike riders than there are sunday driving harley riders... hours of riding + dangers = higher chance of loss... despite my friend dying on a bike I traded in my gixxer600 for a busa.. I refuse to be afraid of anything in my life. If death comes to me on a bike.. I died like I wanted to.. may it be a swift and great death.

harley guys die as well as sport guys i've been on both sides of the fence and they are a blast the point i was makin is alot of these guys you here about are young and have not rode much then they go and get on a race bike most of these "crotchrockets" have profiles of competetion motorcycles which is what we the consumer want but not necessarly what a new rider belongs on out of my friends that ride it seems in general the ones that learned on dirt bikes or small regular motors develop slowley into great riders capable of ridin a busa or a 954 to what it is worth with minimal risk and the guys that just hop on these performance bikes think they know whats up then they go down there is No substitute for expeirence that is my point.

true.. the younger crowd usually do want the crotchrockets over cruisers.. although I would like a nice Ultra Ground Pounder Softail... I can't afford it. But a busa is definitely withing my reach.. ..point being bikes are only as fast as the rider wants it to be..

they say every biker has two accidents in their lifetime - one from inexperience and one from complacency. but that only holds true if they survive the first. rest in peace.
