Default How to do a wheelie?

I know im going to break my neck doing it heh. But how do you do it? I got a 400ex and I tryed poping the clutch didn't work. I tryed picking up the handle bars while accelerating didn't work. I see people do it effortlessly. What is the trick? I just want to know so I can do it right.

it depends on the size of the bike, smaller cc u have to pop it up, i mean u have to litterally hold in the clutch give it another 5 grand and than pop it out, 600+cc u can pop the clutch w/ out the extra RPM or u can just acelerate than quickly snap it down, back up and lift on the handle bars. it takes a lot of practice, get pegs and wear a lid and jacket.

no one in their right mind is going to tell you how to "pop" a wheelie....sorry....go check out www.stuntlife.com they ahve a4 wheeler section there just for wannabes and stunters alike....but if you have to ask how to do it....ya just aren't ready to do it....and how I would do it would prolly not work for you...and vice versa...got it? its technique.....not facts.

in first gear- pull in the clutch - and give a handful of throttle. to like 4-7k rpm and let go the clutch fast - u should start out with lower RPMs than work ur way up to the right RPM . the lower the cc u have the more RPM u have dump it. oh yeah wear a lid and get ready to fix ur bike etc..

More like get ready to end up in the emergency room.

Don't do it. Just be happy with riding with two wheels on the ground.

you can put this on your calender...you are going to loop your shit and get hurt. Don't bother trying. You are obviously not ready to wheelie a bike.....when you are ready it will just happen...and at that point you will figure out why I am saying this. You have no clue what the bike feels like with the front off the ground...the first good time it comes up and you are not ready for it you are going to freak out and most likely not be able to stop opening the throttle....the throttle will then pin and you will loop sending your bike flying into whatever and you on your back...head first. Most likely with the questions you are asking you willbe in shorts and a tshirt...with possibly a lid on.
