New look, Vinyl wrap, paint,or new fairings? Input needed.
I don't know about the warranty but I saw like a six year life span before it starts to degrade and such. If I had to ball park an amount to buy, I'm thinking I would need at least 9 feet of this stuff. I mean you can always order more, so I might get in touch with the some people and see their take on it. I don't know if this stuff stretches a lot or what. You'd also have to get the primer which is 17 bucks a can; mainly for the tank and front stay probably. Either way, it'll be cheaper to wrap it than paint it so I'm down to try it.

3m makes good stuff but their name is what your paying for. Oracal 951 is a great vinyl and 751 is good too.
Florida graphic supply should have everything you need. They are in clearwater.
Everything but the tank should be pretty easy. The tank will be easy if you have an extra hand.
If needed clay the bike then wipe it down with denatured alcohol. Make sure you clean behind the plastics too so you can wrap it around. You want a super clean area when installing or you will get thoese little specks in the vinyl.
If you want to make it easier you can get the part wet before you put the vinyl on. Get a spray bottle and put acouple teaspoons of baby shampoo in it Only downside is you have to give it good dry time. I do it this way for racing stripes on cars with curves.
If you have a friend just stick the middle on and have him keep heat on it while you strech it around.
Also, Oracal 951 has an outdoor durability of 12 years and they have matte black.
