You know... you don't just put subs in ANY box.
I can't stand people that do that, then under power them only to end up with burnt voice coils in the end... In the very least if you do, and end up with hosed speakers. Blame yourself, and don't be the common idiot spreading X brand sucks...

Do you have the speaker's TS parameters? In the very least go with the recommended sealed volume.
It goes a long way extending their life... and (god forbid) will get you better sound.

 

im sorry i dont know much about speaker setups. i have two rockford tens that i have had for a few years and i want to put them in my truck to keep my ass awake commuting to st pete everyday for work.

 

turn them around is there a model # on the magnets?

I had 4 12" Rockford Power HX2's in my Ford Ranger ext. cab on 2 JBL 1200 watt mono amps with 2 batcaps, I think 4 million farads of capacitorocity, and 0 guage wire runnin from the front...nice lookin wire I got off ebay. I had to make my own box, and porting out 2.5 ft3 per sub, it took up everything behind the seats, had to remove rear folding seats, and seats were actually a little too forwarded for comfort. I had to put 2 4" pvc ports aiming out the top of each chamber, and had amps mounted on top, only thing I regret was my lousy carpet job on the box, aside from the window shaking out like 1" (literally), it was pretty bad...

 

I'd say that was a shit load of noise...

 

Hell I have a box WITH two 10's in it I'll sell you for $30.
