I am selling a slightly damaged 2001 Yamaha R1. Bought it in July of 2006 with 16,249 miles. It has 16,249 miles now, and had an oil change 500 miles ago. New Battery. New Rear Tire. Bike runs great. Clean and Clear Title.

Mods
Micron slip-on exhaust
tank protector
ostrage seats
lowered 2 inches (done at Cahills Yamaha of Tampa)
flush front turn signals
tinted windscreen.
I have new frame sliders too, just need to be installed.

Problems
Subframe is bent
Left headlight is cracked
Front nose fairing cracked
Tail Cracked but works fine

Repair it of make it a perfect naked streetfighter if you want.

I want $3500 cash for it or make me some offers.

No, gonna pass. I need to stay off bikes for a little longer. I prefer straight cash. Money talks alot though.

 

I've seen this in person, the pics look a lot worse than it really is. Very easy to fix, if I had the cash I'd take right now. Bump for a good seller too

how did the damage happen?

 

The damage happened from me laying it down in the grass at around 20mph. My riding buddy was there with me and the bike turned right on again. Ony damage is to the appearance.

 

you can't ride it with the broken subframe right?
