Any local clubs allow minors with permits to participate in autox ?? Yes they will be there with a parent.

 

Each individual club will have their own rules.

Really there should be a driving test, instead of possessing a driver license or other paper.
Possession of a piece of paper doesn't mean a person is safe.

Some states allow you to race earlier than others.
That is one of the reasons that a person becomes good, quickly.
That is why a lot of drivers come from Indiana where you can actually RACE at 14.

If a person wants to get good, Jeff Gordon raced go karts at a very early age.
His dad would enter Jeff in several go kart classes per day and every day that he could.
The trailer had a kart for each class hanging on the wall.

That essentially was an 8 hour day of race training.

There is no street driver license required to race go karts.
