Went to Las Vegas this year, and it was boring. They all drive the same car, just different stickers and such. Get rid of these spec cars! Make them drive a body shape available to the public.

No splitter, no spoiler, no tacked on aero aides. Make them slow down and accelerate out of corners rather than just follow each other single file hoping someone will screw up. You will not need stage racing if you do this.

I am personally sick of the political correctness NASCAR is shoving down our throats. I'm all for women and minorities in NASCAR as long as they are the best at what they do. But we had Danica shoved down our throats and she sucked. Now we have Bubba Wallace who never won a Xfinity race moving up to drive a legendary car because he's half black. Not because he's good enough and earned it. I'm watching Xfinity this week and they are making a big deal out of a black/female tire changer. Are you telling me she is fast enough to be there or she got the job because of her gender and race?

In the interview, they sure didn't show her beating a man on the clock going over the wall. Daniel Suarez took over for Carl Edwards and deserves to be there, he earned it! He may turn out to be a great driver someday but he hasn't done much and Subway bailed after all American boy Carl Edwards left. Why? I think it's because people respect his ability, he won, but at the same time, how big is his American fan base?

Most of us are still pissed off we have Japanese cars, why would we get excited about a Mexican driver in today's world? When people walk into a Subway and see a cardboard picture of a Mexican standing where Carl use to stand doesn't have the same appeal. How about a Mexican Driver, in a Japanese car, with a Russian sponsor and German Engineer Crew Chief?

We could give them a all "hooter girls" pit crew! People wouldn't care how long his pit stops are, the longer the better! We have no hate, racial, or gender issues in NASCAR. Why does NASCAR insist on creating issues and pissing off people who have been life long fans in the name of Marxist Political Correctness? Talking about abandoning your base!

Great video I agree 100% however one thing you did not touch on is the change in our culture which has taken us away from the car culture which built NASCAR. I've posted about it in the past and have gotten a lot of blow back about it.

Let's be honest NASCAR has always had a redneck following as their mainstay. Brian France did not like that image even though they were the backbone of the sport. He has done everything possible to shake that image and has managed to lose a big portion of that fan base. Big mistake!

No I don't consider myself a redneck but I did love going to races and watching the rednecks and for sure enjoyed watching the rednecks race.

Again the culture has changed with social media and yes fans are more worldly than 30 years ago but we still like to have fun which could involve attending a race or two each year. Quit trying to be everything to everyone.
