Default Need a hill

Well I have a group willing to sanction a hillclimb but I need a road to run it on any suggestions? Requirements are few houses and few side streets for a 2mile legenth. Anyone have suggestion. While it,s called a hillclimb no actual hill is needed but turns are required.

Jeff's familiar w/ Newberger, his former brother used to live there.

But, there are WAY too many houses in there.

There's Ozello Road, but it's really narrow and has some power poles in really bad places on the outside of turns. Plus, it's the only way in & out for that area, highly unlikely that anyone would allow it to be shut down.

Green Pond road might be doable. There ain't much out there but some farms.

No time to Google these right now, lemme know if you can't find them.

Now, THAT has potential. Just a matter of getting permission.

It's a shame really...the neighbor hood was to hold many $500k+ houses and went belly up. Not a single house built. Entrance is/was very grand but is now completely overgrown...and someone just recently stole the huge horse statue.

The tricky part is finding who it belongs to...there's a a sign for trespassing. I can get the number, I'm very close to there.

plus The police make so much money on that road they can't afford to close it for a day.

But seriously, yes Tampa Rally is handling the logistics, so it has to be done in the surrounding area.. Now we also have a contact in Pinellas county if there is any roads there.

Now. if a developer or private party owns the land that makes it VERY easy to get permission, We just have to wave $$ in their face. and show them that We've held dozens of incident free events and have great insurance. Nno need to close an already closed road.. where public roads have to be posted months before and a lot more BS is involved. Plus if someone lives on that public road you have to allow them access to their home which means shutting down the event at will.

Oh and The Cool part of Hillclimbs. They are considered time trials, and Allow historic vehicles. So the modern roll bar, restraint, and fire suit requirements can be entrant waived.
