i dont belive pulling e brake would be fast way around?

 

You would be suprised what it can do when you have to make a tight 180 degree turn. The only reason to use the EB would be to trigger a rear slide. Its not being used for braking purposes.

 

it 'can' be quick, but it's very unpredictable, so when it works right, you come out of the hairpin well, but generally don't.
also, it tends to hurt you ability to accelerate out of the turn because you have to wait for the rear settle and regain traction before you can get on the gas.

It's fun, but if you want to be consistently fast, learn to do it the right right way..

 

Yep, thats the reason I save it for the fun runs. When it comes to doing it right you don't ever want to compromise your traction.

 

blah to the ebrake BS. i came flying in, got about 90% on the brakes, locked the wheel and accelerated out and stayed about 3" from the grass everytime/

 

You also have a LSD that helps you pull through that situation, watching the vids it looks like I was getting around it a little quicker but much less predictable with my tail happy car.

 

rainman, what you are ignorant to is that i used it as a trail-brake style entry... not ot lock up the tires. i didnt cluth in, just pulled up in first, set the rear brake which changes the weight-transfer and the car's attitude goes straight from one wheel wonder to instant oversteer.
