Default Couple of Questions......

Well here they are....

1.When and Where are the next couple of events?

2.How much is it to enter and to watch?

3.Do I need any special equipment if I want to participate?

4.What should I expect?

I'm going to assume you are referring to autox and not drag racing.

Here is the link to the SCCA CFR Solo 2 site.
http://www.eec.com/racing/
and a direct link to the event schedule (it's about 1/2 way down)

Entry fees vary by event, but they are listed in the event flyers which you will find on the above link. Typically, $30 for non scca memebers.
Spectating is free.

not really. Loaner helmets are available. You'll want to bring plenty of water to drink as with any outdoor activity in florida. You will also want to put extra air in your tires on your way to the event. (Put in as much as the max psi rating on the sidewall, and you can adjust it down at the event after you talk to some more experienced people. We're a pretty friendly bunch)

4.What should I expect?
There is a sticky post with a beginners handbook at the top of this forum. Read through that and it'll give you a really good idea of how things work. After you've done that, ask any specific questions you may have.

Thanks alot, that was alot more info than I thought I would get, but I still have a couple questions.

1.Just how early should I arrive?

2.I will show up in my moms car, 2000 accord coupe, so would I be in the gs class?

3.Am I even allowed to have an automatic?

4.Would I take noticable tread off of the tires?

As early as possible. If you get there to early you can help setup and meet people.

Not sure, but you'd probably want to be in the novice/amateur class.
