Default High Speed Autocross

Me and my roommate co-drove his GTI at an NCCC High Speed autox in St Augustine this weekend, it was good fun, definitely a change from the SCCA style of autox.

You can find that within other clubs as well -- NASA runs them as Time Trails; SCCA runs a multi-tiered setup -- Solo Trials within the Solo (autox) program; various levels of time trials within Club Racing. Whether any particular region runs them depends on how much of the membership is interested in helping set 'em up and participating.

My roommate (the owner of the car) is moving towards participating in NASA time trials. From what I've seen though its a pretty intense level of competition, and I have neither the budget nor the equipment to participate in the 2 day events all around the southeast. That's why I mainly stick to autocross, even though the track time per dollar for autocross is much lower than the weekend long events.
