Somebody find us a place to test the weekend of Aug 29th, I think you can count our team in for just about anything that gets us some decent seat time for $100-150/team.

 

you can call cfrc and see if they will do another even, but im pretty sure they want to expand and repave first. you can pretty much do what GBR did and have other people there to cover the cost of the event. I don't think you have to have your own insurance.

 

or also there is a 1 day chin event on august 22nd.

 

we know a great place. I can`t give deets in a public forum, but we tested the 280z there. awesome spot. may be illegal... maybe. we have to strap on the turbo, make a few odds and ends then we can go. nother week or so.

The Buttonwillow race is going on this weekend.\

The 1st classic mini was entered but has been out a good deal due to mechnical issues.

A friend is running the backwards 2002 there this weekend and a BMW 540 v8 got the curse.

We plan to be at the testing site next weekend with the e30.

Car is all back together, New- used exhaust installed. Althought I think its part of Safety now.. RE cost of the Exhaust system. Due to the new rules.

Then the following week, get the spares in order and tires mounted. And that following Thursday Were off to the races...

 

Exhaust aft of the header/manifold has always been "safety". Headers and manifolds are NOT considered safety, however.

 

yeah and they filled the loophole that a turbo is aft of the manifold...
