I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

A GREAT time as usual. A few lessons learned:
1. Must learn to drive Mary's new car.
2. Mr. Harvey speaks the truth about street tires on a Super Stalker...
3. Must get some sticky tires under Mary's new car.
4. It is very fun to slide around a course. Fun... not fast
6. We will do the same at tomorrow's FAST event.

Oh yea, Add number 7:
7: Prepped Z06 Vette's are VERY fast and fun to watch.

A few lessons learned for me as well:
1. If you think it's hot, Brooksville events magnify it tenfold. At least for a guy who isn't use to the 90+' weather and 200% humidity (my sweat increased the humidity for me).
2. I don't drive well when distracted.
3. I don't drive well when my boxers are drenched in sweat
4. the concrete slabs on the flightline made me think i wasn't hitting any cones... but, I hit cones all but two of my eight runs, ugh.
5. I don't drive well when I'm tired.
6. Still had fun. Looking forward to tomorrow's event.
7. I got MURDERED by the other S2000s. 1st time being beat by 2+ seconds by another s2000 on similar tires. Well done to the other two S2Ks, they were flying!
