BMW CCA June 7th 1 week left
It will be the morning it is much cooler than the PM plus it will be only an hour and a half for each session. It barely touches 85 by noon. No water truck runs since all that doesa is add 10 minutes to a short session.
Why not run AM and PM? Is that people leave at lunch which is a major problem for people who want to run in the PM since you have only half the workers and the chance oif rain goes up considerably in the PM . It is either do this or no events at all. I think this is slightly better.

Looks like this is a light one. Re only about 38 cars. So we should be able to get 8 to 10 runs in..
Ill be bring out the Ti with R compounds.. since there will be a good amount of runs.
Chad. Usually we have a waiting list and have to turn people away. I think we are the best bang for the buck. Gulfcoast has a huge area. But you only get 3 to 4 runs.. Vs 8 or more with us. I would rather have the time behind the wheel.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

lots of fun today...got some suspension adjusting to do before the next one...

Fun weekend, but I'll still say 1.5hrs is pushing it...... only because if you say 1.5 it will always bleed over to let everyone get the same number of runs.
Honestly it would have been probably 15-20 minutes shorter per group if 75% of our course workers weren't sleeping When one car has to stop for a down cone that no one paid attention to resetting, it creates one re-run and sometimes a red flag for another car if you are running with 3 on course.
With a little shorter course and a course worker hustle lecture during the driver's meeting I think the format could work fairly well and get us down close to 1hr.
P.S. I think the finishes need to be further away from people and other stationery objects with a longer straight shutdown area. Do you have enough cable to do this? At a minimum someone is going to destroy timing equipment and their car, worst case, either the crew working timing or people in grid better be quick on their feet!

the problem is it wasnt one cone...some of the 2nd group were wiping out multiple cones in different areas...that 2nd group had me runnin all over the place replacing cones
all in all it was a good day...if it wasnt for a bit of a understeer in the turn around i would have broke into the 50's...i know now my suspension needs some adjusting...whats funny is the level of mods i have put me in F group
