Default Kumho XS?

Anyone running these yet? I see they finally released some wide 17"ers.

I am running the 275's. I like them. Nice sidewall, and they seem to handle heat well. GRM is supposed to have a tire test out next month. We'll see how fast they really are.

I wanted to get them, but they don't come in my size. I called the Tire Rack to comfirm, and ended up ordering the older MX.

Cheers to Kumho for offering the wide 17" sizes. I wish Dunlop and/or Bridgestone would at least step up to a 275 offering.....I think that's all I'm missing is an upgrade from 255 to 275 in the rear to balance the car out.

Has anybody had a chance to drive these in the rain? My car has been pulling DD duty lately, and I don't want to get caught out in a hurricane.

No, but they have pretty big rings in the middle of the tire. Should be decent in the rain.

They probably won't have a lot of grip though as they get better with heat.
