Had the chance to drive these tires today - in torrential rain. Very impressed. Great traction on both acceleration and braking. What little I got to drive in the dry all I can say is they seem very quiet, and have way more grip than any of us would need, or should explore, in traffic...

Wait til you get some heat in them. My first 2 runs are throw-aways with these.

Only thing that worries me is the wear rate. I am down to the wear bars in the rear after 4 months.

I would naively guess that as performance street tires get closer and closer to race tire compounds, that the heat thing is universal. The Hankooks I had before the Azenis were like that...and thanks for the warning.

Wow. But you use the heck out of them, don't you?

I usually average 3 events per month, so 12 events so far.

My last tires lasted around 10 months or 30 events. I don't think these are going to make it that far.

12 events is a year for me, so I'm ok with that...

And what a year it will be...man, these tires stick like crazy. I had my car at SPC today doing things I never got it to do before. I'm quite pleased, and for the money downright tickled.

The grip from the start was great, and only got better with each run. I had a set of Hankook RS2 and Azenis, and these are way better than either of those.

Word, I can see why you would say the first runs are "throw-aways," but even when cold the grip, IMHO, is impressive. Two thumbs up!

Where is the cheapest place to get these (since you have already purchased some)...?
