How many turns in this one mile track?
The whole facility (track, office building and parking) fits in a space about 600' x 1200'. If you take the outer loop of the course, looks like there are about 8 turns and a longest straight of about 600'. Looks like you could run a shorter configuration and get a longer straight... maybe 8-900' straight with 10 tighter turns.

Well, since this track is somewhat comparable with Gainesville in size and layout, how much is it to rent Gainesville for a day? It can't be that much because I've been to an open lapping day at Gainesville with 20 cars@ $150 each, so Gville has to be under 3k a day.

I believe Gville is something like $1200-$1500. ERS in Starke is around $4500.

Any more than five turns per mile is gonna be a slow course. Not that that is necessarily bad but the big motor cars need long straights to stay cool. This track and Stark would be great for the open wheel cars.

Thanks for pointing out the track rule slip-up... I considered leaving it

With the many people that have come out to visit, I hear alot about Gainesville and know quite a bit about it since I have rented it in the past. There are many differences between Gainesville and this track, once you come out, you'll see. Its hard to compare track rentals when all the factors are figured in.

In regards to the rental, check the home page of the website and the same goes for Open Track Day rules. We understand many people have qualifying experience but not the license. It is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Also, besides configurations, one of the biggest pluses is that it has a fantastic location. Oh and also, its another track!! There are many options on running the track... number of turns from 6 - 12. 12 is the most fun... you will have to try it.

Lots of things will be happening, some new programs, events, etc.

Keep checking the website Home or email me for more info.

Matt

Looks fun. I've always thought it would be a good idea to incorporate racetracks in industrial complexes.
