so hes eleven turns 12 sometime next year. I see the waiver on SCCAs site. I know barry said hes good to come out to BMW, but where do I get the form for them. And what about helmets? Is there usually loaner helmets out that are small enough for him? And does anyone know what the rule is for PCA? Id rather do PCA since its closer and I dont have register the both of us to get in.

My 12 year old daughter has been out to a few and she can wear a Small helmet. She borrows Kris's. So I am sure we could find him one to wear. IT may be purple or pink though.

A PCA member would bring his Daughter out a few years ago and she would ride with instructors. But she was 14 at the time.. Now she is driving in the events.

The forms are downloadable in PDF format off SCCA , just google scca minor waiver.

To be 100% legit you will need to have both parents sign.

I have an XS helmet in my closet. I'm sure my son's head won't fit it any more. Will sell cheap if anyone needs it.

Well my son was a passenger last weekend and he had a blast. Thanks for starting this thread and letting me know the rules. Funny thing is that the kids have a great time whether your fast or not. In fact, my non-fast antics (like getting sideways) seemed to be the biggest hit. Go figure.. LOL

You should have him ride along in a car with race tires. It was pretty crazy to ride along with Mark in his miata with r compounds.

Yea, you tend to be a little protective of your offspring..... I'll have to keep him with me until he gets bored.
