Solo qualified means that a known track club has pronounced you officially okeedokee to go out on a race track without an instructor.

I was starting to get psyched that the new car's first event could be on a real track with enough time to actually test and tune.

What happened? Well, the track expects full payment 30 days before the event. Typical racers don't register that early!
Next time we'll have to either set an earlier entry deadline, or have enough bank to cover it and allow late registrations.

I was about to sign up yesterday (the deadline) and realized it had been canceled. Bummer. I was looking forward to a track day I could actually afford- cough, cough, chin. Hope you guys can get something set up again soon.
