Default Free engineering for brake kits.

I am going to be working with US Brake To produce the associated hardware to adapt their existing caliper products to existing popular platforms. US Brake is very popular amongst the circle track community, however is really pushing to expand. I have been reviewing the engineering specifications for a few days now and they are quite good.

The first set I'm working on will be the Sentra/240SX (4x114.3 apps only) since I have the car at my disposal, however It will take more then one application to satisfy the manufacturer. so if any of you drivers can Identify a need, I'll do the engineering for your platform, no charge. all you have to pay for is whatever the parts cost. (usually between $600-$800 an axle) price depends on what rotors I need to use. (off the shelf or custom)

Here is a look at the products, I truly believe they are on par with my brembos, and being given the ability to spec out my own piston sizes will prevent the issues that are common with a lot of "one size fits all" kits out there.

Example Rear Caliper

Example Front.

All the designs are fixed caliper and use a single retaining pin to make pad changes super quick..

just drop me a PM if your interested in being a tester, I do need people that actually track their car since I'll need feedback, and all changes that are made to the final product will be given to our testers at no charge.

Thanks,
Jeff (1st Place Automotive Engineering)

Had a great time last night Jeff. Bump for a great opportunity for those getting in on this.

On another note, PM John and get yourself a shop forum at the top of Tampa Racing on the main page. Put up some stickies explaining your expertise like on your flyer. The shop forums are free and you get to moderate it.

At least that's my undersanding of rotary sorcery...

jpatanio: if you have the rotor dimensions that will save me the time to spec it out. Backspacing, od... or the part number is cool. I really want to offer a single peice rotors as a selectable option, since I think what keeps most from upgrading is the price.. now I know the US brake rotors are pretty decently priced. but a single peice should knock off $200 per axle pair. I like US brake since the quality and rigidity is better then willwood and the price is similar and Brembo while accepted universally as the gold standartd, wants crazy money even if for an off the shelf part number.
