Default CHEAP track day and time Trial

Be one of the FIRST people to drive the NEW European Rally School's 2 mile Bradford Circuit... And compete in a Time Trial..

Here is the Deal
Base "solo" price is $180 <CHEAP>
Add $50 if you need instruction

Qualified instructors get $100 off the solo price <REALLY CHEAP>

In addition anyone attending the track school gets $100 off their Southern Sprint entry. so $180 - $100 - $100 ($20)

So if your a qualified instructor you can actually MAKE $20 by attending this school and registering for the Southern Sprint.

Here is the problem we need 20 registrations for this event by July 2nd or we loose the date. The track owner is being demanding due to the short notice.

Students will get Time Trial Focused training and everyone attending will get to compete in the Time Trial at the end of the day. a full track school AND time trial for less then $200 that is a deal!!

Registration should be open soon at (southernsprint.com)

Loren will update this thread as soon as he opens registration

Count me in assuming no unforeseen circumstances keep me from attending.

What do you guys consider a 'qualified' instructor?

If it helps I have over a dozen first and second place finishes in the ASP class over the years and was also an instructor once at a Sunrider's event back in the day.

Where is this 'Bradford Circuit' of which you speak as well?

Need copious amounts of track experience (not autox experience) to be a qualified track instructor. Autox is a slightly different game with much lower stakes.

The Bradford circuit is the 2 mile paved course at the European Rally School complex.

Nope, certainly not to that level yet Loren, but I got to start somewhere, right? lol

So about how much track time will I get for my buck-eighty? I'll spread the word so you can get your minimum student count.

Since I know I'm not the only one who will be curious about the venue here is the web site for the facility which I didn't even know about till now.

Haven't worked out the track day schedule yet, but we're not going for maximum entries... expect about 40, but capping it at 60.

Figure 15 cars on track at a time, that's 4 groups if we get 60 cars. With 8 hours of track time available (8-5 minus an hour for lunch), each group should get a max of 2 hours. Realistically, with down time between groups and such, probably an hour and a half... that's if we get 60 cars and stick with 15 cars on track. (with no experience on this track, it's hard to say if we could be comfortable with more cars on track or not, but the track owner has said that 20 cars with point-by passing is doable) If we get fewer entries, obviously, we'll have fewer groups and each group will get more time.

In short: You'll get PLENTY of seat time for $180. You could do 6 autocrosses instead... and get a total of about 30 minutes of seat time. You just can't beat a track event for seat time/dollar.

In.

Also, my best friend who has a couple of solo HPDE's under his belt at Sebring is in. He has a ZO6. I will try and round up at least 2-3 more.

Thanks for putting this on guys.
