This weekend is shot for me. Late on the 13th is doable. The 19th, 20th or the 27th would work.

To allow for enough notice for everyone, I think we definitely need to get underway on the 20th. If this is a problem for anyone, speak up else see you at Bam's.

Hey guys! I guess I was emailing one of you about the LeMons race in SC in July. Thanks for the link to this site. I never knew it was here.
As for the lemon race, we are lucky enough to find a sponsor to help us out with a large portion of our budget. We have the guys, the tools, the work shop. Now all we need is the beater... I wonder if Dave White has any beat up, yet running 911's in his back yard...

July can't come here fast enough!! I really hope this will be one of the events that run the full 24 hours. If you ever been to CMP (which I haven't but only via google-earth) it looks pretty barren around the track so my fingers are crossed.

C-ya...back to work for me...

I got my lemon yesterday. It's the lemon we'll use, but it's in such good shape, I would hate to run it! It's a 1991 Ford Escort GT. Only paid a couple of hundred for it. Came with a couple of strut tower bars and a huge K&N cold air intake system. I haven't looked at much of anything else on the car because of the storms last night. I drove it yesterday before the rain and then a little this morning. We'll be going through everything under the hood with a fine tooth comb before we strip out everything and throw the cage in. (just in case)

Thanks! Good luck to you too. We moved up our schedule to get the car ready as quickly as possible and try to do some 'testing' at a couple of autox's this spring/summer.
