You want a AWD honda. Get a CRV and drop it and do it up.. bet itll beat a lot of Civics out there.

I never complained about traction and GSTSuper16g is FWD so he has a legitament gripe. My gripe is all the weight I have to carry around AND drivetrain drag. It takes a little more HP to turn a transaxle a transfer case a 3 piece driveshaft a rear end 3 differentials 4 axles and 4 heavy ass stock rims than it takes to turn the drivetrain in a civic.

Dont get me wrong Im not bitching. I bought my car for a reason... Because it was exactly what I wanted. But it is no mystical ride with advantages that make other cars look handicapped.

My 60ft times make me want new tires!

2.3s and such... My stocks are so bald and ugly. But have no fear I have one new toyo proxie on there. Yes you heard me ONE! And everybody makes fun because 3 look nice and one is big and round. Oh well I guess I should have just bought the set.

You kidding me? We are finishing up the install on a Jackson Racing Supercharger on a CRV and I can tell you it will be slow. The AWD system in those is crap. I know of several which broke on cars only running 16 second quarters. I tend to leave AWD to the company which knows it best...

Feels like a new car. Before I would hit 1 bar by around 3500-4000 RPMs now I hit 1 bar before 3000. It also has no problems hitting whatever boost setting I have it on (which is 1.3 bar (old turbo died at 1 bar) but it creeps to 1.4 bar in the top of 4th). The mid range power is sick now I did a street start (didnt launch) in first and stomped on it and spun the fronts after the boost came on (halfway across the intersection). If I come out of the hole around 5000-5500 it just spins the shit out of my tires (Im guessing just fronts) so next up is a welded center differential and then Im going to try to break the rear end.

I painted my intercooler pipes a little over a week ago and my couplings started popping off when the boost crept to 1.4 bar in 4th gear. Hopefully thats done with. I may strip the paint off the pipes and try something else (I need to get them powder-coated but I cant deal with the downtime)...maybe just a Krylon special (I used VHT high-temp paint last time which doesnt seal that well).

I also have a small vacuum leak somewhere that I cant find...might be my intake manifold to head. Its at the TB EGR Intake Manifold area...and I resealed the TB and EGR so that leaves the worst option left. I need to build a pressure tester to really check...

Anyway all the little annoyances aside it should be running low 13s or high 12s on pump gas now (err...pump gas radials at a stop light etc ). Just finished putting some new bushings in my shifter as well as some BG Synchroshift so I actually might be able to shift my way to a good run (no comments from the peanut gallery).

Need to really test it this weekend (since Moroso is coming up the 19th & 20th).

You need to get some beads welded on those pipes. I have a bead on all mine and use cheap ass clamps. I have had only one problem and that was a coupler being torn and blowing out.

I will...or get a bead rolled around the end. The guy who did the piping is out of town for a couple weeks so I cant get it done until the end of next week if I want it welded. I dont know if anyone in this area has a bead tool so Ill just have to wait a bit I guess...

Funny thing is it didnt start leaking until after I painted it. Go figure...
