Blood_Sun:
I think I am going to go down to EurostreetGraphics and have them make me a couple Tamparacing.com Stickers. I am going to have it in a different font to fit my cars personality. Ill show you what it looks like after I go down there and if you like it you can have them mass produced or something.

Because I want the sticker on my car so people know but I want one that is more edgy and has a sharper personality.

Also isnt your best time a 13.1? Or did you make it down to the 13 flat.

APEXi LS/R I beleive your car is MUCH lighter than his talon. He is WAY faster because he started with around 40 more hp than you. Increasing boost is fairly cheap. Plus he is probably gaining .5 sec JUST in the first 60 feet.

If speed is your desire.........

If youve spend $4000 you couldve just bought a Drag Gen III installed tuned etc and pulling low 13s for around $3500.

Im going back down to the track to see what the new mods bring but am a little bit weary of the heat. Both of these slips are from mid 60 degree weather (same night). Ill see what I can pull in the heat now...last time out it was a 13.5@102...bad night...but Ill be back... Also feel free to use another font...save me a few or something so I can see what it looks like in the end.

Apex - IMHO you need to only change the transmission in your car to drastically drop times. I know your setup and the LS tranny is awful for all motor (but great for boost). If youre staying all motor ditch that tranny for a b16 or ITR and I think you should drop a good half second. But if youre going boost stick with what you got. Good luck.

Apexi Dont try to compare the cost of my mods to yours. My car came from the factory turbocharged. If you were to turbocharge your car Im sure it would be as fast as mine. The problem is you have to buy a Turbo/wastegate Exh. Manny Downpipe intercooler probably do some engine work to lower the compression if you want to be able to run any significant amount of boost and plumb up the intake and oil feed/return. Thats a lot of $$$ that was included in the price of my car. The AWD helps a lot but dont be fooled into believing that it is EASY to get a perfect launch in an AWD. It IS easy to launch better than a FWD but it takes practice to really get low 60 times. Recently I have been able to pull consistent 1.72-1.74 60 foots but dont be discouraged. With an upgraded Diff and some slicks you should be able to pull mid 1.8s. The down fall on my car is the weight. people are under the misconception that because my car is a 4 cyl it is light. ITS NOT. My car weighs 3375 lbs with me in it. In perspective My buddies 97 Civic weighs 2600 with him in it.

Good luck with whatever you do to the Acura. Its a nice car and will SURELY outhandle my car.

And my car weighs 2976 with me in it. That AWD gets you out of the whole but you have to drag it with you down the rest of the track
