+3 on the ACT. I love mine. Of course, I don't have any torque to speak of...

A stock one would last quite a while. This car im only shooting for 350 rwhtq at the most anyway. I could always do a sn95 Cobra spec clutch for a few dollars more.

I was more or less getting an idea if you guys went aftermarket or stayed stock. Thogh most of you have the luxury of hydraulic actuated clutches, I got a cable, so going beefy requires a heavier pedal.

I run a SPEC stage III plus. I really like the pedal feel, but when the clutch engages it fells like it's unsprung. On the track it's fine, but on the street I have to slip the clutch a little when taking off from a stop.

I ran a spec stage 1 im my 96 Cobra before it got wrecked. Pedal was very smooth and just barely heavier than stock. My current 01' GT has the stocker in it for now and when it goes i'll be replacing it with a spec clutch.

I went aftermarket to a heavy-as-hell ACT Xtreme/2600lb pressure plate with a street disc. I really didn't mind the pedal pressure but it never disengaged right. Then I moved to a South Bend 2200lb pressure plate with their organic/ceramic full-face/puck (yes, it's a weird and confusing clutch). That's been working pretty well for a while now. In my case a stock clutch would last for the duration of one launch before fraying into a million pieces of kitty hair, if it even held up that long, so I don't have much choice.
