We use to be able to do it for the year. But now they want it per event. Its in case they get audited.

So now its per event.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Remember ALL Helmets must be Snell 2000 or M2000 or higher. IE M2005
the old M95 ones are no good.
So all the spare loaners we have are now no good. So we have no spares.

lol, yeah. At the time I didn't know nothin' about nothin' and bought the cheapest Shoei I could find... I guess there was a reason it was so cheap, haha.

Time to upgrade I guess. Maybe Pep Boys has 05's...

Get a motorcycle helmet from a cycle shop, You should be able to find one for around $100. The MX styles are cheaper, actually when in comes time for me to replace my m2000 I plan to get an open face for the car events.

Check out ebay..
eBay Motors: $219 WHITE SNELL MOTORCYCLE STREETBIKE FULL FACE HELMET (item 120041269502 end time Oct-18-06 17:30:24 PDT)

I purchased a full face so I also could use it on the cycle.

eBay Motors: G-Force GF-750 Open Face Fibreglass Helmet Snell SA2000 (item 200037216412 end time Oct-20-06 06:00:26 PDT)
