The Porsche events are intriguing to me because of the challenging surface, but today's event left a bad taste in my mouth.

1. Whoever was chalking the cones needed ... some coaching.

2. 3 Runs? Yuck. Although, I am thankful for my 2 extra fun runs.

3. One of the event organizers absolutely lost his mind on #555 driving the Subaru. I don't know what happened, but nothing - short of endangering someone's life with reckless driving - warrants this type of behavior. Here are some excerpts I heard with my own ears, "I will kick you the F**K out of here!" , "Are you gonna show me how much balls you got now?!?!" These plus others were repeated at maximum volume for about a thirty second rant. I'm sure most people in run group two witnessed this. If you know what happened here, my interest is picqued.

But on the bright side, the course itself was pretty good. I especially liked the quick offset slalom near the finish - the one that looked like two half-boxes. Congrats to Alann Gross for FTD - and Tod Byram nipping at his heels by one tenth.

wasnt in the paddock but was working the course when car 555 came to a stop cause of a worker on course, course wasn't redflagged & shoulda been or the worker should have seen the car coming & got off the course. looked like as soon as the driver saw the worker he hit the brakes, not sure why the porsche guy kicked him out.

I'm clueless on this one too, I was working station 4 at the time and #555 came to a complete stop on the front half then proceeded to finish the rest of the course. After stopping he did run the rest of the course pretty fast but the course was clear at this point best I could tell

I had a blast, did pretty good for my first autoX. The track was very slippery though.

A couple of us were wondering why Kenny had no times posted. I ran group 2, but didn't hear any of this drama. Did he get Germanically half-shafted?
I really liked the course layout. This was my first crack at Zephyrhills, and it was everything I had been told about it. Like butter on one side and glue on the other. Lotsa fun. Glad I was able to put it together enough to pull a 44.7x out of my ass. I think a holy-something came to mind when I saw that time.

Yeah at the start Bryan told Ken to hold on and did not wave the flag to start but Ken Rev'ed and took off without being told to go. So basically he took it upon himself to start. I have video of the whole episode and we watched it a couple time to be certian. You never leave the line until the starter signals you to go. Totallay uncalled for. There were some other factors that led to him being asked to leave.

Actually, what happened was all a misunderstanding. I thought the starter said "alright, go", so I went. I got down to where the worker was on course, stopped as I was supposed to (I ain't gonna endanger nobody), then continued on the course to get some heat in my tires. They called me back in for a rerun, the one guy (the one who was swearing at the end) came up, said I left early. I said I thought the starter said go, he and grid worker were discussing it with me, grid said "well, we need to get cars moving" so I said "ok, I'll eat the run then" and drove back to grid.

What happened in grid was a little weird, he came over like he was going to talk, I said "its ok man, I'll eat the run. I misheard the starter." and he went off.

Josh, it may have looked like I took it upon myself to start, but you know me. I wouldn't do that shit if I heard him say "hold up" or "there's a worker on the course." All I can say in my defense is I thought he said go.

That's it. Think what you want.
