It will usually say Snell somewhere on the inside under the padding. That helmet will be good for the next Z-hills race only. Their website says that starting July 1st they require Snell. I would take it back if it's not Snell. Hit up the motorcycle shops for Snell helmets. All auto-x clubs accept both Snell M rating and SA rating. M rating is cheaper.

yeah, those don't have a fireproof interior, take it back if you can, we had a thread on this a few days ago, i'm makin a trip to automotive engineering, lemme get the link

daamn, well I guess we'll take it back and head over to Automotive Engineering sometime this week and get a Snell SA or M.

FYI, M doesn't have a fireproof lining either, only SA. And jlude if you are in Brandon you should check out

Should be, unless it's really old. SCCA requires Snell 1995 or newer.

but does PCA require newer helmet? I can't find a date.
