Default newbie needs a helmet

I just moved into town and I'm pushing a 13.999 1/4 mile. I'm wondering if there are any local shops with girls helmets?

+1 to what John said. Look for SA2005 or SA2000 Make sure the material on the inside is fire resistant. IIRC, motorcycle helmets are not SAxxxx certified.

Yup a motorcycle helmet will be a Snell M2005 or M2006. The SA designation is for "Special Applications" which meands it has a fire resistant liner. DOT helmet requirements are a joke. Always get a Snell rated helmet.
