I guess that's what I get for listening to the internet, building up an image in my head from comments, the track PDF file, etc.

That track, with or without cones, is not "really tight". I guess we'll have to disagree on the meaning of that word.

Looked like a fun course from the videos. Glad to hear people had a good time.

Now I know not to blow my entrance fee next time.

 

Perhaps they meant "tight" as in "really awesome"? I dunno.

And I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean when you say "blow [your] enterance fee".

 

It actually was really tight, but that is not the problem with the site. The problem is that the surface is slick, there is no run off room for a few of the corners, and the site owners have a bunch of stupid rules. This place is exactly like Gainesville only smaller and with more rules.

I thought the mirrorkhana format was great, but I won't ever go back to Primus. It is worth checking out for yourself at least once though. Maybe you'll like it.

 

agreed that it was very tight, agreed that it was very very slick... i gave up trying to keep my car straight around the track and just decided to have fun sliding around... the format was great... i'd probably go back... even though i was nowhere near being competitive in my calss i still had a great time.

 

I blew my entrance fee by chosing not to go.

 

That would explain why I didn't see a bugeye there.
