I wouldve given you ride if you wanted but obviously you werent there! It was fun Saturday and have definately been looking forward to Primus!!! Any video's of an '06 STi found yet????? -jk! Let me know Michael and I'll give you a ride at Primus.

 

Half of the Primus track (the half we're using) was designed for kart racing. But it's not a "kart track" in the way I think you're thinking. Not where you go pay $5 to rent a slow go-kart and run for a few minutes. It's a track for RACING go karts. People bring their shifter karts out and race them.

Passengers won't be allowed at January's Primus event. Sorry.

True. But you may mind the passenger telling your competitor exactly how many cones they hit while driving. 2 cones = ok. 3 cones = u lose.

 

And also telling you when to take it easy, or go faster. It's a blind man's race...

 

I wouldn't call it a blind-man's race... but when you're on course, it's all you. Driver vs. Driver. You have to rely on your own senses and skills.

I know i'm a little stupid at times, so please bear with me, but why does this look impossible to me?

What I gather so far from this thread/the PDF:
Both cars start at the same line, both cars travel the same direction. If you catch up to the car in front, you are to follow along at a safe distance -- no passing allowed. If you catch up to the car in front, you will finish first.

How will the faster person cross the finish line first if there is no passing? It seems like the only way to win is to beat the other car off the line.

I have to be reading this map wrong...
