yeah, well, not many of us are crazy enough to drive to Arkansas, Indiana, Virginia, Georgia, and Kansas for an autox.

Do you have a silencer? You could always use that. believe me, the few horsepower you lose from it won't mean anything.

 

I'm gonna' need some crank/crack/etc. for that next drive from Kansas. I can see how someone would fall asleep at the wheel at total their Protege.



There's nothing louder than the old blue Austin Mini. It ran at GIR and Brooksville w/o any problems.
Aside from GCAC (Ft. Myers), you'd probably get talked to at Martin Club events too. But for CFR events I think you'd be o.k. everywhere they run.

 

i have a silencer on it. i still think it might be to loud

 

tell that to Jim Bledsoe. it wouldn't kill him to put some kind of an attempt at muffling sound on his car. instead the starter goes deaf when the car launches.

maybe i should take my hood off and get a custom pipe made that dumps the exhaust out the side of the car right after the turbo. and i'll be sure to wear a helmet at all times so i don't go deaf.
