Yeah those SM races were nuts. People were wrecking every race. We won't be racing since my boss is taking some time off and I haven't been liscensed yet or finished my car.

Anyone see that Formula car wreck on Sunday? My dad was reluctant to tell me before Group 4 went on 'cause he thought it would get in my head the race. He said they had to fly the guy off, hopefully he was alright. He also said the car looked like it broke in half. Not good.

On a lighter note, I'll be heading over for the Nat'l race on the 8th (Saturday) just to hang out and watch the racing. If anyone's heading over, let me know.

Yeah I saw that wreck looked like the guy got pretty banged up. He didn't get out of the car on his own and it looked like he broke one of his arms and maybe a leg too. I think he is going to be alright and they just flew him out as a precaution. Chassis was defintely a total loss. Where is the race on the 8th?

My dad jsut told me that the guy in that Formula car I guess e-mailed or wrote a letter to the SCCA thanking them for great workers, etc. So, I figure he's good, but not sure if he walked away unscathed.

There's a Nat'l race at Sebring on the 8-9th, but it's a Nat'l and Restricted Regional. So, it's not worth racing if you Regional. I'm probably going on that Saturday, the 8th, just to hang out.

i may not be there, as dad blew up the miata and it probably wont be completely rebuilt by then.

Dad, however, will be instructing. look out for him, he's a nice guy- Neal Norton. Tall dorky guy, dark hair. he'll be driving a big blue new f250.

Where can I get some more info on the race that is on the 8th ? My friend and I are going to the drag strip that night, but we may as well goto the road race course too.

We both are wanting to get into road racing ( maybe a turbo miata race car in the future, just for fun, no "door to door racing" ). I've been into drag racing for about 5 years. road racing seems like a lot more fun...

When is the SCCA "world spped challege" going to be back at sebring ?
