April 11th Track Day at Gainesville Raceway
Sorry for the short notice, but our car club is hosting an Event a Gainesville Raceway. We were hoping that we would have enough people from the club, but it's not happening that way.
There are only going to be 20 cars allowed, track rules not ours, you can have additional drivers though. Right now we have 9 people already.
Here is how it's going to work, we have the track, Gainesville Raceway, for 8 hours on Sunday April 11th. It's going to be $100 for each car and first driver and $50 for each extra driver. You will get at least 1 hour of track time because we can run several cars at once. It's a smaller test course style track, but it's really nice pavement. Right now we have 9 people already.
Here is a shot of what the course looks like.

This is the same course as seen in SloAccord's video, just minus all those cones and having to stop.
Here is a map.

in case you want to look it up on mapquest.
I can be emailed at insndrvr@yahoo.com Sorry for the last minute notice.

I would allow anything out there, but the track owners are very particular about their grass. From what I understand, the last time Jay from Orlando went out there, he didn't even touch the grass and they kept telling him to tone it down. So you are welcome to come out and try, but I don't think it will be a very good venue for that.

All they want is for their grass to be intact so that they don't get dirt runoff around the edges of the track which would cause it to deteriorate. They spent all that money on the track and they want to protect their investment... what a bunch of fags....
I don't get you mattback... sometime's you're all on the let's do this shit right and earn a decent reputation for drifting as a motorsport... and then you shit a big log like this out of your mouth.... What's the deal?
