Who's heading to Ft. Myers Sunday?
I never actually looked at the total. It didn't seem like an unusually high number of drivers. I've been there many times when they broke 100 drivers and four runs was an automatic....I'm not sure what happened to make that different. They even had to bust out the permanant marker and write the new schedule on the picnic table. I think it was still worth it, but hope they don't decide it was excusable and do it every time.

My last run got better 81.3 (I think), but I took out a couple cones.
I definitely could have gotten into the 80's with another run.
Good job today Todd. Too bad the "tEaM pOrnStarZ" car wasn't there to test your new speed breakthrough.
HOLY SHIT, the results are up. You paxed #1.
CONGRATS!!!!

Yeah, thanks - that's a first. I was just on and wish I could pinpoint why.
Penrod's co-driver, Josh, drove my car. He beat James the past two times at GCAC and at the Tour event and isn't on the poRnstud team. I think he helped push me. He was driving first and was at a 77.0XX after 2 runs (I did 77.1XX) he then knocked another tenth off and gave me the car sitting on a 76.9XX. I jumped to a 75.5 on the last. I just watched video and, although it's still not on an Ian type level, it looked good for once. Nothing much to bitch about. Big turn around from that crap last Sunday in G'Ville. Perhaps I should hit 138 on the way to ALL autocrosses - seems to work better than RedBull.
Maybe I can get Jamal to host another one temporarily. Then Jesse can give me the play by play. Surely there was still a second+ there to be had.

For raw times, in fendered cars, the AP FFR Cobra got me. And no one can touch the AM thing.
Wow, king for a day. I better enjoy it since next time all of the normal top 10 PAXers might be there.

congratulations Todd, beating Darrin at GCAC on PAX is one hell of a drive. I've never done it.
3 runs DOES blow, but at least it preps you for the big events where that's all you have.
Also, they run 3 runs when they get lazy...that's all it is.

I had a good time. The miata felt much better on the kumhos than they did last week on the dunlops.

Wow! That's some fast times Todd! :o Congratulations!!! You're getting very good on concrete, those Hoosiers must be helping a little too!
Seriously though, you beat a few of the "fast" guys, you should be very proud! It was your day!
I'll be happy to host that video for ya! I'd like to see what the course was like... do you think it was a S2000 course? Was it technical? I heard (from Keith) that it was a fast course, designed for me (according to him), so, he should've been fast too! Not sure what happened, he must've been having a bad day... I'll call him today to find out.
Let me know when you're in the area and I'll get that tape from you.

It was definitely an S-2000 course. I only had to go to third once and in four other spots I was just tapping the rev limiter in second, or within a hundred or two RPM of it. If I was on a BSP set-up I couldv'e hooked up the laptop and raised the limiter 200 RPM and it would've been perfectly geared. And I had no hand in the design. Dave Hutter doesn't own, or even like, S-2000's
.
It would have been a great course for the S/C M-Coupe, too. I'd imagine Jamal & Palmblad would have been in the low 74's to 73's on it.
There were a whole lot of good drivers missing, so add a one to that PAX and that's probably reality. SS was missing a few. AS didn't have the Sowinski's Boxster-S, Sheilds wasn't there, and Ken Marion is still on VictoRacers (but with new Koni's) and would've been right there on Hoosiers. You can go on and on - no SideWays yellow S2K in BS - no Southard's in CS - no Jesse/Jim in ES - a lot of fast street prepared cars missing - small SM & no SM 2 class. I won't declare expert status from it, that's what I'm saying. But vs. last month there I beat the crap out of my class where Feingold went from up by 0.4 to down 1.3 and Leslaw was only 0.1 behind vs. 5 sec. back.
