G-ville this weekend
The course map is confusing. What is supposed to happen after the second slalom?
If it rains, again, I'm going agnostic.

He'll never live that down.
Turn left, through the decreasing radius, past the optional chicane, left and then trough the slalom again - turn right through the increasing radius and run the rest of the course.
I DO walk the courses much better than I drive them!

O.K., start -> little meaningless wiggles (at least to our size cars) --> tap brakes for moderately open "Chicago Box" ---> on gas for long, increasing distance optional slalom, brake hard ----> 90 degree right into a 3(6, actually) cone optional slalom, brake a little -----> 90 degree left ------> pretty open straight with a little lane left/right/left change and hard braking at the end, while trying to stay right ------> 90+ degree left (stay out of the drink) into the left sweeper --------> decide if you want to take a slalom that's as tight as legal with every spare cone in the truck waiting to get whacked, OR take the line you're in through the benign chicane --------> brake into another 90 degree left, and into that same 3 (6) cone slalom, but you're entering and exiting differently both times through (if you want to), brake--------------> same ole' 90 deg. left, but you're coming into it on a faster and earlier apexing line ------------------> same ole' straight with a little left/right/left lane change, but when you brake this time through you'll be braking straight-----------------------> a DIFFERENT! 90+ degree right, into the long right sweeper-----------------------------> another meaningless wiggle to keep you on your toes while shifting to 2nd-----------------> a few gates to keep you from cheating on the "?" (what do you call that thing) well, you'll have to brake into it unless you're in a skinny little Datsun 2000 or a kart--------------------------------------> back standing on the gas and through ANOTHER absolutely meaningless wiggly 1/2 lane change and through the "hallway"/"alley"/"chute" (some would call it overusage of old blackened pylons)----------------------------------> oops, cook those brakes again and hope you have ABS on that 10ae <did you find the modulator?> and into another nameless slowdown quick jog thing-a-ma-jigger-----------------------> gas brake gas into the 90+ (maybe 115*) right and through a long left sweeper, apexing early and sliding your (insert RWD car's name here) across the finish and not into the drink.

like i said, last time on the EVENT MORNING, it called for rain all day. And what really happened? It was 70 and sunny, ALL DAY.
