it's true that Kenny's freaking fast...and on this board every so often.

But my point is that the sunriders' courses aren't that bad for an Impalla...

they're usually made up of little choppy sections where being able to come out of a corner with some torque down in the rpm band would do well.

Hence why Brian did so well in the cavalier, Kenny does so well in the Impalla, etc. Ironically, the miata club's courses' aren't suited for miatas at all. They want speed maintence, offset heavy courses where they can get upto speed, and keep it.

your 540 would benefit hugely from a LSD, bigger front sway bar, and some better tires.

nothing serious needs to be done to the CAR.

in the process of getting coilovers/sways/new tires over the next 2-3 months. lsd might come a little bit further down the road but i am afraid i will start breaking things. the car does pretty well on the faster tracks but the tight ones kill me... as much as i try to modulate throttle inputs it is extremely difficult to keep it from breaking the inside tire. more experience will help with that though as i am still pretty much a virgin...

I actually have the track rented out on the 6th. Looks like I'm going to have to stay up for the weekend.

And I get a practice day.

SO TRUE. I had beaten all the miatas a few years ago in the cavalier, in fact the only person that did beat me that day was Dennis Brunton. I may attend a sunriders event here and there, and I will certainly do better in the miata than I did with the supra.

The course map is confusing. What is supposed to happen after the second slalom?
