With only 42 slots total, we're expecting to fill the roster with pre-registration. I wouldn't plan on trying to sign up on event day, though if we're a few short, we MAY allow it. No last minute on-site tech, though. You'll need to make sure your car is ready before you just show up. You need to seriously inspect (or have a mechanic inspect) your car in accordance with the tech sheet.

Get those registrations in, folks! I'm getting a few in the mail every day. Don't miss out because you were late!

Sure, no problem. If I can make it, I will probably come out for a little while whether I can drive or not, just to check it out. I can also act as a junior-level instructor if necessary, since I've been doing track days for a while (close to 10 over the last couple years). ItrChris knows me if you need references.

Hope to see you there!

We might be able to use you in that capacity. So far, the instructors that I've made arrangements with have been coming through. (I presently have more instructors than students, but that's better than the other way around!)

Come on out if you can.

I've got a few pictures. Here's a panoramic shot that someone did from the NE corner.

The map (in the info packet and in a previous thread) is accurate, taken from an engineering drawing of the track. It's nicely kept, very green with a few trees here and there and a pond on the inside of the big sweeper.

Cool! But...

That's the "kart track". The North half of the course only, doesn't include the fast South half. They're also running the opposite direction from what we'll be running.

But, yeah... it's sorta like that.
