Typical race track "driving school" format. All the info is in the PDF file, see the link in the first post.

Is there a standing definition of "competent service person"?
Does it have to be a 3rd party?
Does it have to be somebody in the employ of an automotive business?
Somebody with official nationally recognized certifications?

I'm in a hotel room in Orlando (slow-ass dial-up), gonna try to answer a couple questions. If I miss anything, ask again!

Track is about .9 miles long in the configuration that we're running.

For tech, we're not putting qualifications on what a "qualified technician" is. We respect that many of us are accomplished shadetree mechanics who are more than capable of maintaining our own cars in a fine manner. If you feel that you are that competent, that's fine. Just be sure that everything on the tech sheet has been checked. Remember, YOUR name is at the bottom of that sheet. No matter who checks your car, you're agreeing that it has been looked over to your satisfaction and all is well.

We'll look for obvious stuff at on-site tech, but we can't catch everything.

Was that it?

Question:

What are we doing for car numbers? Will stickers be provided or are we just supposed to bring white shoe polish?

Thanks

Bob

Not a big concern. With only 7 cars on track at a time, we should be able to tell the cars apart easily enough. If you have numbers, bring them and use them, it might make it easier for the corner workers to identify you in their communications. If you don't have them, don't sweat it.

With no timing and scoring going on, it's not a big deal.

Loren,

I read in the registration packet that you must sign up by March 6. If there is room, is there any chance of signing up the day of the event? I won't know if I'll be able to make it until a day or two before.

Thanks,
Jack
