You're in D-mod if the motor is under 2L.

thanks, whats the qualifications for d-mod? Is there a website? do people use forced induction? Is it individual runs? Sorry for the million questions but I have no idea about it and I'm interested.

the mod classes' rules aren't posted online.

But pretty much, you can do anything you want. If you go FI, you'll move upto E-mod, which allows more displacement.

But stuff like striping the interior, custom suspension pieces, lightweight bodywork are all allowed.

It's a 2-seater.
I guess he could be in SM2 though.

true, didn't even think about SM2....

SM2 allows pretty much open motor and drivetrain, but you must keep the interior, and suspension is only bolt-on.....fenders and hood are stilll allowed to be changed.

Goto an event, buy a rulebook. then you dont have to worry about people like me forgetting about a class.
