Anyone ever heard of Memphis Audio subwoofers?

Im looking into buying a set.

are you sure? my local car audio shop is now using mainly memphis audio stuff on their cars and its pretty good.... is it really expensive? i don't think so.... but then again... i don't know crap about car audio...

 

then what subwoofers should i get ?..

IDMAX is pushing it
Orion has some good mid/high end stuff but its not as musical as some may want
most JBL sucks but i have an old GTI 12 and that thing pounded and handled as much power as anyone could throw at it
my concept 10's were not all that
one is still in good spahe but the spider on the other one kept detaching form the frame and makeing a buzzing noise when turned up

IDQ MAKES BOMB SUBS. they new IDMAX subs are quite possilbly the best designed subs EVER.


and as for memphis THEY OWN YOU.

MY boy was semi sponsered by auto solutions on dalemabry near bears.

he had 2 memphis 12;s with like 1100 to EACH COIL. he fuckin quadded out everyone. won mad shit. his rodeo made my hair stand up.

 

and my friend has had 2 IDQ baseline 15's pounding his rav 4 for over 3 yrs now and it still works/sounds great.

 

had a set of 6x9's in my girls car with a jensen amp to it. lasted 2 week
