hes going to run it off his xplode 1200 for now till he finds a new amp he likes.. the seats fold down there was just junk under the little seat and i didnt wanna clean it out to fold it down.. i painted befor i glued the seams my fault ill repaint over the glue once its all together ill do a few more coats of paint and some coats of clear

 

I was rocking 1 Type R 12 in a big ported box... running off a 400 Watt. old school JBL amp.. now just waiting for a good radio so i can put it in my van..

got this just about done.. all thats left to do is finish rounding over the edges , cut the sub hole out , carpet , build removeable trim panels ( he wants the box to be removed so im going to do the trimpanels on a hindge ) pics..

 

also when i carpet this what kinda spray glue should i use? elmers or 3M?

 

3m super 77 works pretty well on carpet. Don't buy the cheap crap in the blue can at wal-mart, it will fall off eventually.

 

where can i get that at?

 

home depot, lowes, i think wal-mart even sells it

 

ill have to go get a few cans and some carpet

 

use contact cement!

 

only advice I can give you is to double baffle the port wall on the outside. I noticed when I had a box like that, when it is up loud, the port actually vibrates because it is so thin. just my .02
