What is needed to wire this head unit to this harness, and how much will it end up costing me somewhere? I dont know if this is an OEM harness. The car is a 1998 acura integra. The head unit i need installed is a Kenwood KDC-BT838U Thanks for the help guys. Heres some pics, best i could do. Hooking up the subwoofer wires is unnecessary as i have no plans to have subs in the car.









I also have this little cubby thing i would like installed under it. I dont have the screws for it.

 

That is an OEM harness, and hondas are among the easiest cars to install aftermarket electronics in.

Go to bestbuy/circuitcity/walmart and get the mounting kit - its about $20 and includes the pocket.

The wiring harness will be in the same are and will look like the reciprocal to that plug. The harness is another $20. You dont need an antenna adapter from what I see in those pics.

Once you have the harness, its basically matching up colors - use some kind of plastic crimp to bind the wires. You will regret using electrical tape by itself.

The mounting kit will clip into the housing, the radio will have an aluminum jacket that will have metal prongs that you bend into place on the inside of the kit and then slide the radio into the aluminum frame.
