your entire trunk? or like your amps and what not.. i used a cpu fan on mine.. i got it free so.. they like $12 at radioshack.. the entire trunk would be hard to keep cool unless you have seats that fold down and reveal the trunk.. in which case ac or windows down would do the trick.. also what two 12's/amps

With that tiny setup you don't need to cool your trunk.

But if you really want a cooler trunk, move your amp into the passenger cabin.

he may be losing power due to heat is why he asks.. it is florida.. try dynamat if you dont have any.. or any of the other sound dampeners as they help insulate which will keep more of the heat outside... and keep the cooler air in.. Basically are you having a problem with anything not working right or overheating or do you just want a cooler trunk? if nothing is wrong then leave it alone.. if you have a problem speak up

Since the amps produce the most heat, I don't see how insulating the trunk will do anything besides turn it into an oven.

The power loss to heat in a typical mosfet amp is near fixed within operating temperatures. A/B and D amps do not really lose efficiency as they heat up that the benefit of fan cooling would outweigh.

As asked above, is there a specific reason you're trying to cool it? I'm all for keeping amps cool, just wondering if you're having problems of its more of a preventive measure.

If your amps are getting hot try checking your voltage. If it gets low your amps will overheat. If voltage is getting below 12.5 i would add and extra battery.

they are the 1200 max right? i had those.. you shouldnt be pulling much power at all.. dont know why you would have two amps on them.. they should stay very cool.. especially since you have the power split up.. also why would you put them on two different amps.. they probably dont sound very clean do they?

I'm hoping the boss powers the subs and the eclipse powers the inside speakers? I dont see cooling being a big issue with this setup.
