Any Competitions Coming Up?
not always...it depends on the car...my car is "louder" on the meter with the door cracked

Yes the show is being held by Style n Sound, we are just hosting it.727 he does give multiple entry discounts. If i am correct he just started an "outlaw "class where you do whatever makes you the loudest i.e. windows down, doors open. In this class he will allow you to place the mic anywhere in front of the b pillar. This is a new class for the league so i will check to make sure that the rules for this class are correct. We have a post dedicated to this show in local events also and shortly we will post a seperate thread here also.
Yeah somewhere around there.

727 We are not running the show, we are just hosting it.
The meter is owned and operated by the Style -N- Sound league (Jethro)
There are discounts for entering multiple events
There is one event where you can run with doors open windows cracked or whatever that is the Outlaw event
but the main SPL classes are both metered with all doors and windows closed and the meter in the same place on every car`
One of those events is called Ground Pounders where you play music on any store bought CD you want (NO Burned CD's Allowed) Also no tone burst or Sweeps and it takes your average over a thirty second period.
The other Event is peak to peak which takes your loudest (Peak) score within thirty seconds (not an average) and you can use tone burst or sweeps if you want)
Each event does have a multitude of classes (Except Outlaw it is one class right now but that might change), this is so you are competing against people who have the same basic amount of power and subwoofer amounts and sizes.
If you are not sure just swing by the shop and we can look at your system and tell you which class you would be in.
Also always remember you never know what could happen just because a guy has a bigger set up does not always mean he will beat you
There are lots of factors included like the thirty second average class is more about consistantly loud than just straight up raw one time power.
And Stright Up raw one time power has a class also which is peak to peak
Another words there are lots of chances to win

No we will not be entering any of our cars in our own show but will probably have a few of our customers there.
If you see the White Mustang on 26" there then he is pretty loud for 4 12" Subs, but he has a wall and that will put him in a big boy class, that same customer has a Ford F150 Regular Cab on 28" which has 2 12" RE Audio SE series subs behind the seat in a sealed box which is pretty sweet for the room he had to work with behind a regular cab seat.
I am hoping that my youngest installer Rod has his new Volkswagon done to display at the show, as it should be pretty nice when he is done
Then there is the loud mouth at the shop that just won 1st place in his class at Slam Fest this weekend his shit is ugly but is killer loud especially for two 12" on 1500 RMS in the trunk. He is actually undefeated in his class this year.
As I said none of my employees will be allowed to enter the competition as I believe that to be unprofessional to compete in your show but they will all be there.
